About Us

The Bay Area Amateur Radio Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the celebration, promotion, and advancement of the amateur radio hobby in and around Bay County. We are always welcoming new members, and would love to see you at one of our monthly meetings!

Meetings are every second Thursday of each month at the new Salvation Army building on 10th Street in Bay City.  Meeting time is 6 PM, and if you appreciate what we do, consider becoming a member!

COVID-19 Club Response

If you want to attend our meetings in person, please respect the following rules:

  1. A mask will be required to enter the building, and in common spaces.
  2. We request that you sit six feet from other people. Generally, this isn’t a problem given the space available. Once seated, you may remove your mask.
  3. If you need to approach someone, please replace your mask.

Please understand these rules are in place to protect our members, and to ensure we can continue to hold in-person meetings by complying with health department orders. We respect all positions on mask use, but we must ask for masks to allow all members and guests the opportunity to attend in person.
