The Bay Area Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announce we’ll be participating in the 2020 Field Day on 6/27-6/28! If you’d like to join us, please meet at the Frankenlust Township Park, located at Frankenlust Township Hall, at 2401 Delta Rd. See below for a map:
Setup begins Friday afternoon from 1800hrs (6PM) so be sure to come by and stake your claim!
And if you’re not a licensed amateur radio operator, don’t worry! We’ll also have a Get On The Air station set up for you to try real contesting. If you’d like to see what this hobby’s about, come on out!
There have been a couple rule changes for 2020 Field Day, which you can find here. The rules include:
- For Field Day 2020 only, Class D stations may work all other Field Day stations, including other Class D stations, for points.
- In addition, for 2020 only, an aggregate club score will be published, which will be the sum of all individual entries indicating a specific club (similar to the aggregate score totals used in ARRL affiliated club competitions).
