The Bay Area Amateur Radio Club (BAARC) will be Hosting 2025 ARRL FIELD Day Event in Bay City, Michigan
We’re cordially inviting the public to join us for the ARRL Filed Day 2025, and exciting annual emergency communications exercise and open house celebrating amateur radio vital role in public service and disaster preparedness.

When:
Saturday, June 28th -2:00PM to 6:00PM
Sunday, June 29th-9:00AM to Noon
Field Day is the largest on-air operating event in North America. with more than 35,000 radio amateurs across the continent participating. BAARC will be operating portable radio stations powered by emergency generators to simulate off-grid communications-the king used during natural disaster and public emergencies.
What to Expect:
Live demonstrations of ham radio equipment in action
Info on how to become a licensed ham radio operator
Club members on site to answer questions and explain the role of amateur radio in public service
This is a family-friendly, free event-all ages are welcome!
